Origin of threading
The threading technique originated in Asia centuries ago. Eyebrow threading is
a simple process that is often considered to be one of the most painless (and least
invasive) options for shaping brows. Back in the days, threading was popular only in
women, however now, men take advantage of this technique for brow shaping
as well as unwanted facial hair, especially on the cheekbone area and forehead.
How do brows threading work?
In threading, a thin cotton or polyester thread is doubled and then twisted. It is
then rolled over areas of unwanted hair, plucking the hair at the follicle level.
Threading allows for a more defined and precise shape and can create
a better definition in eyebrows.
